Rio de Janeiro,November 30,2025 – A China-brazil badminton pleasant match concluded successfully today in Rio de Janeiro,strengthening sporting ties between the two nations. The event featured competition in five disciplines and the signing of cooperative agreements aimed at fostering further collaboration in badminton development.
The day began with welcoming gestures, including the presentation of flowers too Brazilian athletes by Mr.Liu Weimin, Deputy General representative of Sinopec Central and South America Representative Office. The miratus badminton Association also presented team uniforms to Consul General Tian Min and Deputy Consul General Wang Haitao.
Formalizing the growing partnership, the China-Brazil sports Federation officially joined the Rio State Badminton Federation as a member unit. Simultaneously, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the China-brazil Sports federation and the Miratus Badminton Association.
Competition culminated in an awards ceremony recognizing champions, runners-up, and third-place finishers in women’s singles, men’s singles, women’s doubles, men’s doubles, and mixed doubles.The event was marked by eager applause and displays of sportsmanship between Chinese and Brazilian athletes.
Key figures present included Zhang Ying, President of the China-Brazil United Sports Federation, and Simeone, President of the Rio State Badminton Federation, who posed for a commemorative photograph. Zhang Ying also met with Sebastian Oliveira, founder of the Miratus Badminton Association.
