naples Restaurant Scene Heats Up with Tulia Italian Steak Debut

NAPLES,FL – Chef Vincenzo Betulia has transformed his Fifth Avenue South restaurant, formerly The French Brasserie Rustique, into Tulia Italian Steak, bringing a new dining experiance to Naples. The reimagined space builds upon the success of Rouge, a speakeasy-style lounge launched in 2023 within The French, and officially opened its doors this month.

Betulia, known for his Campagna Hospitality Group properties including Osteria Tulia and Bar Tulia (with two locations), describes Tulia Italian Steak as a full realization of the concept first tested with Rouge. “Rouge is the original concept for this new restaurant, a pilot program that we are now bringing fully to life,” he stated. The shift signifies a deepening commitment to a sophisticated, intimate dining atmosphere combined with high-quality cuisine.

The menu, developed in collaboration with executive chef benoit Valota, centers around USDA Prime, Australian, and Japanese Wagyu steaks. Diners will also find wood-grilled Sicilian swordfish and Dutch veal chop parmigiana. Betulia assures patrons that beloved dishes from The French, such as baked onion soup and steak frites, will remain available.

The restaurant’s interior has been redesigned to reflect a more refined aesthetic, featuring deep banquettes, barrel chairs, and antiqued brick. The former Rouge space has been converted into a romantic lounge with tufted sofas, brushed gold accents, and velvet drapery.

Tulia Italian Steak will maintain the wine program excellence of its predecessor, retaining the two-glass Best of Award of Excellence recognition from Wine Spectator. The wine list will continue to showcase French first-growth wines,top-tier Italian wineries,California cult favorites, and rare selections, alongside craft cocktails – including Italian-inspired creations like the cappuccino Negroni.
