Milan Falls to Hapoel Tel Aviv, Ending Four-Game EuroLeague Win Streak
Milan (Olimpia Milano – hapoel Tel Aviv 83-105) – Olimpia Milano’s momentum stalled Thursday with an 83-105 defeat to Hapoel Tel Aviv, marking their sixth EuroLeague loss of the season and halting a four-game winning streak. Hapoel Tel aviv, led by a dominant performance from Blakeney and Oturu who combined for 40 points, solidified their position atop the EuroLeague standings.
The game remained competitive thru the first half, ending with a narrow 45-49 scoreline in favor of Hapoel. Though, a decisive 12-0 run by the Israeli team in the third quarter proved insurmountable for Milan. Despite strong individual efforts from Bolmaro (16 points) and Ellis (15 points, 6 assists), Milan struggled to contain Hapoel’s efficient offense, which shot 63% from the field and 72% from two-point range.
