Pusha T and Virginia Thornton Announce Second Child on the Way

Rapper Pusha T and his wife, Virginia Thornton, ‌are‍ expecting their second child, a baby boy, ⁣in Spring 2026.The couple shared the heartwarming news via Instagram on friday, November 14, adding a new chapter to their growing family.

The ‍announcement arrives ​as Pusha T prepares for the 2026 Grammy Awards, where his duo ⁣Clipse has received five nominations,⁢ including Album of⁣ the Year ​and Best rap Album for let God Sort Em ‌Out. This⁣ personal⁤ milestone coincides with a period⁤ of critically ⁤important professional recognition for the artist.

Virginia Thornton revealed the pregnancy with ‍an Instagram carousel featuring⁤ her cradling her baby bump, accompanied by‌ the caption, “second masterpiece​ on the ‌way. God ‍is good.” Pusha⁤ T’s post⁣ focused on their son, Nigel, stating, “Nigel, you‌ ask‍ and you shall receive… but this time, it was mommy ​who made it happen. She prayed day and night, struggled with disappointments, but she never gave up ‌on your wishes.” He continued, playfully acknowledging Nigel’s future responsibilities as a big brother: “You are ‍gonna owe her big time! New duty, new standards, and new expectations all come⁣ with being a big ⁤brother… I hope you are ready.”

The rapper⁣ also expressed⁢ gratitude to Virginia, writing,⁣ “Thank ⁣you for my‍ second baby boy… I hope‌ you carry on⁤ with tradition​ and never teach me how to change a diaper, prep a meal, suck out​ a snotty nose, or anything else a Supermom does.” He concluded with a hopeful message, “See you spring 2026, my⁣ boy.”

Pusha T and Virginia Thornton ‌married in 2018 ​and‌ welcomed their first child, Nigel Brixx Thornton, in July 2020. Virginia has previously‍ described motherhood⁣ as​ her “dream job,” noting ‍her excitement that Nigel arrived during Gemini season.
