Santa Fe College to Host ‘Songs of the Season’ Concert Friday
Gainesville, FL – Santa Fe College’s Fine Arts and Entertainment Technology department will present “Songs of the Season” this Friday, offering a festive early start to the holiday season for the Gainesville community.
The concert will be held at 7:30 p.m. at the Jackson Sasser fine Arts Hall on the SF College Northwest Campus, located at 3000 NW 83rd St.
The Santa Fe Singers, directed by SF College Adjunct Professors of Music Mitchell Rorick and Wendy Gunther, will perform. They will be joined by the Gainesville Youth Chorus, comprised of vocalists aged 7 to 17. The Youth Chorus will feature both their Concert Choir and Concertina Choir, performing separately and alongside the Santa Fe Singers.
“The Youth Chorus will showcase both their Concert Choir and Concertina Choir, singing individually and in collaboration with the Santa Fe Singers, adding an extra layer of harmony to the evening,” according to a press release.
