netflix Announces ‘stranger Things’ Spinoff Plans Ahead of Final Season Premiere
LOS ANGELES,CA – November 8,2025 – netflix is expanding the universe of its flagship series Stranger Things,announcing plans for a spinoff project as anticipation builds for the premiere of Stranger Things 5 Volume one on November 26th. The news arrives days before the global premiere of the final season,signaling the streaming giant’s commitment to the franchise beyond its original storyline.
The final season will be released in two volumes, with Volume One comprising four episodes launching November 26th, and Volume Two – featuring three episodes – arriving on Christmas Day. The concluding episode, titled “The Rightside Up,” is slated for release on New Year’s Eve. Steve Howey (Shameless) will join the cast of the drama Ransom as Levi, the half-brother of Josh Duhamel’s Staten Kirkland, set to introduce new complexities to the series’ second season.
