Desperate Search for british Doctor Missing in Spain Enters Second Week
Marbella, Spain – November 22, 2025 – The family of a British doctor missing from the Costa del Sol for two weeks has issued a desperate plea for data as Spanish authorities continue their search. Dr.Andrew Wade, 65, was last seen at his home in Marbella on August 15, 2025.
The disappearance of Dr.Wade adds to a growing number of cases involving British citizens vanishing in Spain this summer, raising concerns for travelers and prompting increased scrutiny of safety measures in popular holiday destinations. His family describes his disappearance as completely out of character and fear for his well-being. The search is ongoing, with police focusing efforts near Estepona, where a body was recently discovered – though authorities have not confirmed if it is Dr. Wade.
Dr. Wade’s family reported him missing after being unable to contact him. A police search near Estepona on September 20, 2025, resulted in the discovery of a body, but identification is still pending. Together, on September 23, 2025, British holidaymaker Josh Rogers, 26, from Bloxwich, West Midlands, was found dead in woodland near Lloret de Mar, Costa Brava, after being reported missing from his hotel.
Authorities are investigating both cases, but have released limited details. The Foreign,Commonwealth & Growth Office has confirmed they are providing support to the families of both men. Anyone with information regarding Dr. Wade’s whereabouts is urged to contact the Spanish National Police or the British Consulate in Malaga.
