Pokémon Legends: Z-A Receives First Post-Launch Update – Version 1.0.2 Now Available
The first update for Pokémon Legends: Z-A, version 1.0.2, has been released following the game’s launch day update. Developed by Game Freak, this patch focuses on addressing bugs and refining the Ranked Battle experience.
Here’s a detailed breakdown of the changes included in the 1.0.2 update:
Bug fixes:
* A critical issue preventing Pokémon capture and side mission completion has been resolved. Specifically, players who hadn’t opened the box screen while their boxes were full before a Mega Evolution battle would consistently fail to capture Pokémon. This also blocked progress on related side quests.
* A bug in certain side missions where a day/night transition coinciding with a skill impact would halt progress has been fixed.
* An issue during trainer battles where simultaneous Mega Evolution and an opponent’s Pokémon switch would lock the battle has been corrected.
* Several other unspecified bugs have been addressed.
Ranked Battle Adjustments:
* The point system for Ranked battles has been adjusted to eliminate point deductions based on match outcomes.
* battle rewards received after each Ranked Battle have been added and increased.
Players will need to download update 1.0.2 to access online features. It’s vital to note that local communication is no longer compatible with older, un-updated versions of the game.
Pokémon legends: Z-A is currently available on both Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2.
