Seoul,South Korea – Check Point Software Technologies has announced the appointment of Hyun-Ho Lim as its new Director for Korea. This strategic move underscores Check Point’s commitment to expanding its footprint in the crucial Korean market and delivering advanced cybersecurity solutions to businesses across the region.
According to Check Point, Mr. lim brings over 25 years of extensive experience in the IT and cybersecurity sectors.He has consistently demonstrated strong leadership, a proven track record of execution, and a dedication to customer success. Prior to joining Check Point,mr. Lim served as the inaugural branch manager of Trellix, where he was lauded for successfully establishing the company’s domestic operations and consistently exceeding sales targets.
Moreover, Director Lim held executive positions at prominent cybersecurity firms including Blue Coat Systems (later acquired by Symantec) and FireEye, consistently driving continuous business performance improvements.
In his new role, Director Lim will leverage his expertise in new market entry strategies, partner ecosystem development, and enterprise sales leadership to fortify Check Point’s position in Korea. He will focus on empowering organizations to achieve genuine cyber resilience through the deployment of Check Point’s cutting-edge security technologies.
Mr. Lim will report directly to Ng Guan-Teng, Regional Director for ASEAN and Korea at Check Point Software Technologies.
