Microsoft’s Azure cloud platform experienced ⁣widespread disruptions beginning Wednesday morning,⁤ impacting services ranging from online gaming to airline operations. The outage, stemming from “an unintentional configuration change” according to Microsoft, has affected‍ users globally and follows a major AWS outage just ​one week ‍prior.

Downdetector registered‌ thousands of reported issues for online gamers using Minecraft ⁢and Microsoft’s xbox platform. Microsoft’s official 365 Status account on X acknowledged the problems, directing users to the Service Health Dashboard for updates under‍ MO1181369.
