Arriaga Shines in Midfield as Levante Draws with ‌Mallorca

Palma de Mallorca – Kervin arriaga delivered a ⁢strong ⁢performance in midfield for Levante UD, but a ⁤late goal from ‌Pablo Maffeo denied them a victory‍ against RCD Mallorca in a 1-1 draw on matchday 10 of ⁣La Liga. The result leaves Levante with 9 points this‌ season, stemming⁢ from 2 wins, 3 draws, and 5 losses, placing them 14th in⁣ the league standings.

Levante⁢ sought retribution after a previous encounter, displaying a resolute⁣ effort, ⁤but ultimately‍ couldn’t secure all‌ three points ⁢despite Etta ⁤Eyong’s‌ 22nd-minute goal – his sixth of the 2025-26 season. Maffeo’s ⁣78th-minute strike leveled the score, a goal preceded by visible frustration from⁢ Arriaga directed ‌at teammate Manu Sánchez⁤ for a⁣ perceived defensive ‌lapse.

Arriaga started in Levante’s lineup and provided crucial ⁣support in the midfield,⁢ effectively⁤ disrupting Mallorca’s play as‌ a defensive‍ midfielder. He received a yellow card in the 49th minute for⁣ vehemently ‌protesting a refereeing decision.

According to Sofascore, Arriaga earned a rating of‌ 7.6, among the⁤ highest for Levante players. He recorded one shot on target, 52 touches, and two⁢ successful dribbles, while winning 2 of 3⁤ aerial duels.

Levante will next‌ face Celta de ⁢Vigo at home on November 2nd. Prior‌ to⁣ that league match, they⁣ will travel to Orihuela for a Copa del Rey first-round match on October⁣ 30th.
