Fujifilm Launches Compact FUJINON XC13-33mmF3.5-6.3 OIS Lens for X-Mount Cameras
VALHALLA,NY – october 22,2025 – Fujifilm today announced the release of the FUJINON XC13-33mmF3.5-6.3 OIS lens, a new addition to its X-Mount lens lineup designed for portability and versatility. The lens offers an equivalent focal length of 19.5-50mm, making it ideal for everyday photography, travel, and vlogging.
The XC13-33mmF3.5-6.3 OIS aims to provide a lightweight and affordable option for photographers entering the fujifilm X-Mount system or seeking a compact walkaround lens. Featuring optical image stabilization (OIS), the lens helps minimize camera shake, enabling sharper images and smoother video, even in low-light conditions. This launch underscores Fujifilm’s commitment to expanding its lens offerings to cater to a diverse range of photographic needs and budgets.
The new lens incorporates a minimum focusing distance of just 24cm and a maximum magnification ratio of 0.2x, allowing for close-up shots wiht pleasing background blur. Fujifilm states the lens utilizes an internal stepping motor for fast and quiet autofocus performance,crucial for both stills and video capture. CIPA testing, conducted according to 2024 standards with a FUJIFILM X-T3 and focal length of 33mm, demonstrates pitch/yaw direction correction functionality.
fujifilm notes the lens is compliant with CIPA guidelines based on internal measurement methods when mounted on a FUJIFILM X-H2 mirrorless digital camera, achieving AF speed at the wide-angle end using phase detection AF with High Performance mode activated. When retracted, the lens measures approximately 59.9mm in length.
