Nicki Minaj‘s California Mansion Could Be Sold to Cover $503K Lawsuit Debt
Hidden Hills, CA – Nicki Minaj’s $20 million los Angeles-area mansion is facing potential foreclosure as a result of an outstanding lawsuit judgment. A court motion filed on October 6th by Thomas Weidenmuller, the plaintiff in a 2022 assault case, seeks to compel the sale of the property to satisfy a $503,000 debt Minaj has yet to pay.
The legal battle stems from an incident during a 2019 concert in Germany where Weidenmuller, working as a security guard, alleges he was assaulted by minaj’s husband,Kenneth Petty, after Minaj reportedly became upset with him over a fan reaching the stage.Weidenmuller claims the attack resulted in injuries requiring surgery. Because Minaj did not respond to the initial lawsuit, a default judgment of $503,000 was issued against her. Now, with payment still outstanding, Weidenmuller is pursuing the sale of Minaj’s Hidden Hills home to recoup the funds.
According to court documents, Weidenmuller’s lawyer argues that Minaj, with an estimated net worth between $150-190 million and recognized as one of the highest-paid female rap artists globally, possesses the financial means to settle the debt but has “refused to do so despite multiple written requests for payment and levies served upon several of her suspected creditors.”
The motion emphasizes the home’s value exceeds the amount owed, stating,”Although it is regrettable that the extraordinary measure of forcing the sale of Minaj’s dwelling is required, that result is entirely the product of her intransigence in not making payment.”
