Megan Thee Stallion Honored as 2025 Mental Health Champion of the Year by The Trevor Project
LOS ANGELES, CA – Grammy-winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion has been named The Trevor Project’s 2025 Mental Health Champion of the Year, recognizing her sustained advocacy and commitment to breaking down stigmas surrounding mental health, especially within the LGBTQ+ community. The organization lauded the Houston native for utilizing her platform to provide resources and foster open conversations about well-being.
Megan Thee Stallion’s dedication to mental health extends beyond public awareness. In 2022, she launched ”Bad B**ches Have Bad Days Too,” a wellness hub offering mental health resources, crisis hotlines, and access to therapy for young people. She further amplified these efforts in 2023 with the “Seize the Awkward” campaign, urging individuals to check in on friends and family, and in 2024, collaborated with the California Department of Public Health on the “Never a Bother” campaign to prevent youth suicide.

Megan Thee stallion joins a distinguished group of past honorees, including Dua Lipa (2024), Lil Nas X, and Janelle Monáe. While focusing on advocacy, Megan has also teased a return to music with an unreleased track sampling Total’s “Kissin’ You,” following April’s release of “Whenever.”
