The integration allows users to generate new images from text prompts or edit existing photos using the Gemini 2.5 Flash Image model. In Search’s AI Mode, a new ‘plus’ icon in the prompt box provides access to the Gallery, Camera, and the image creation tool signified by a banana emoji. users prompted to “Describe your image” can then generate entirely new visuals or modify uploaded photos. Generated images include a Gemini spark watermark.
