Washington County Indicts 15 on Trafficking, Crime Charges

Washington County Grand Jury Returns Indictments Against 15 Individuals

MARIETTA, OH – A Washington County grand ⁣jury has issued indictments against 15 individuals on a range of felony and misdemeanor charges, according to recent reports. ⁤The indictments stem from incidents ​occurring between November 2021 and September 2024.

among⁣ those indicted is Michael Noel, ‍whose charges relate to offenses involving ⁤reproducing or sharing sexually oriented‍ images. Noel’s arrest ‌was part of “Operation​ Next Door,” a ​large-scale operation involving over 100 law enforcement agencies led⁢ by the Ohio organized Crime Investigations Commission.The operation resulted ‍in 32​ felony arrests statewide,alongside ⁣charges of‌ sex with a⁤ minor,drug possession and trafficking,and prostitution-related offenses.⁢ Authorities also arrested 103 individuals ‍accused of soliciting prostitution. noel is currently held‌ at the Washington County Jail.

The grand jury‌ also⁤ returned indictments against:

* Derek Ryan​ Whytsell,45,Marietta: Strangulation (4th-degree felony) and domestic violence (1st-degree‌ misdemeanor) – July 21.
* Christopher‌ Dvon Capers, 42, Shreveport, ‍Louisiana: Theft from a person in‌ a protected class (5th-degree⁤ felony) ⁣- June 2024.
* Alicia Dawn Rivera,41,marietta: Strangulation (3rd-degree felony) and two counts of domestic⁤ violence (3rd-degree felony and 1st-degree ‌misdemeanor) -‌ Aug. 31. Rivera ​has prior convictions⁣ for domestic‍ violence⁤ from April 2013 and March 2014.⁤ She is also​ indicted separately for aggravated possession of drugs (5th-degree‍ felony) -‍ June 22.
*‌ anthony J.Hayhurst, 61, West Union, ⁤West Virginia: Passing bad⁣ checks and theft ‍(both 5th-degree felonies) – November 2021.
* Heath Michael Patterson: Domestic violence (1st-degree misdemeanor) – Aug. 22.‍ (No age or address listed).
* Rayburn bragg Buchanan, 50, Marietta: ‌ Trespassing in a ‌habitation (4th-degree felony) – Aug. ‌21.
* ⁤ Dakota ⁣Ski Acores,⁣ 31, Marietta: Failing to appear ​as required by recognizance (4th-degree felony) – Sept.⁤ 22.
* Brianna Lynn Hall, 25, Cambridge: Identity fraud ‍(5th-degree felony), ⁤two counts of receiving ‌stolen property (1st-degree⁢ misdemeanor), misuse of credit cards (1st-degree misdemeanor), ⁢and two counts of theft (5th-degree felony) -‌ July 4.
* Dylan Alexander Madden, 22, Salem, ⁤Virginia: Improperly ‌handling firearms in⁣ a motor vehicle (4th-degree felony)⁢ – ‍March 8. The indictment includes a specification for weapon forfeiture.
* Paul Edward Dickinson Jr., 43, Zanesville: Tampering with evidence (3rd-degree felony) ⁤and ‌possession of cocaine (4th-degree felony) – March 9.
* Buddy⁤ Allen miller, ⁤51, Marietta: Escape (3rd-degree felony)⁢ – ‌Sept. 19.
* Dillon Gage Anderson,30,Parkersburg: Breaking and ⁤entering (5th-degree felony) and theft​ (1st-degree​ misdemeanor) – Sept.16.
* ⁤ David William Mowery,​ 54, Fleming & Valerie Aletha Jefferson, 52, Parkersburg: Both indicted on one count of attempting to commit an offense (4th-degree felony) – Aug. 1 & 8. Mowery faces additional ‍charges of⁣ aggravated menacing‍ (three counts, 1st-degree misdemeanor) and criminal damaging/endangering (four counts, 1st-degree misdemeanor). jefferson is also charged with six ‍counts of complicity in the commission of an offense (1st-degree misdemeanor).
