Midway University Equestrian Program Hosts Renowned Hunter/Jumper Professionals
Midway University’s Hunt Seat Equestrian Program recently benefited from the expertise of accomplished hunter and jumper trainers Otis and Robin Brown, who led a specialized clinic for the program’s advanced riders. The visit provided a unique possibility for students to refine their skills under the guidance of industry leaders.
Otis and Robin Brown are highly respected figures in the hunter and jumper world, known for their success in developing competitive riders and promoting horsemanship. Robin brown currently serves as the Vice President of the United States Hunter Jumper Association (USHJA) and is a past judge at IHSA Nationals.
During the clinic, the Browns worked individually with Midway’s equestrian students, focusing on technique, rider-horse communication, and providing constructive feedback. Riders received personalized instruction aimed at improving their form and overall performance.
