Marco Borsato Denied Back-Entrance Request, faces Media Scrutiny Similar to Ali B.
Singer marco Borsato will be required to enter the Utrecht courthouse through the main entrance for his upcoming trial, a request for access via a back entrance having been denied, according to legal sources and reports from Dutch entertainment news programs. The decision sets the stage for a potentially intense media presence, mirroring the scenes witnessed with Thijs Römer and ali B. during their recent court appearances.
The request, submitted by Borsato’s legal team, aimed to avoid a gauntlet of journalists and camera crews. However, the court steadfast that granting special access woudl create the perception of preferential treatment. “The court has decided and informed us that he will simply have to go through the front door and that is a painful corridor,because you can hardly get through,” explained private investigator Evert Santegoeds on the shownieuws program.

On the other hand, he is happy that he can finally tell his story, but it is indeed a tough task that he will be especially dreading, I think, but they want to avoid giving the idea that he is getting special treatment. That is not going to happen.”
