NEW YORK – Dominican Republic’s Fiordaliza Cofil Paulino has a chance to claim a $250,000 bonus if she breaks the world record in the 400-meter dash at a women’s-only track meet scheduled for 5:00 pm at Icahn Stadium on Randall’s Island, near Manhattan. The event, debuting in 2024, offers a total prize pool of $60,000 to $2,500 for the top six finishers, but the substantial bonus adds significant stakes to Paulino’s attempt.
