Matchroom Sport & Riyadh Season Expand Partnership with Multi-Sport Deal
RIYADH, SAUDI ARABIA – Matchroom Sport and Riyadh Season have announced an expanded partnership to bring a series of major sporting events to Saudi Arabia, encompassing boxing, snooker, and darts. The agreement builds on an existing relationship and signals increased investment in global sports entertainment.
The partnership will feature the riyadh Season Snooker Championship from November 19-21, showcasing stars like Ronnie O’Sullivan and Mark Allen, with a unique ’super-maximum’ break worth $1 million.In January 2026, the inaugural Saudi arabia Darts Masters will be held as part of the PDC’s 2026 World Series of Darts.
Riyadh Season’s sixth edition, launching this month, already includes October’s Six Kings Slam featuring tennis players Jannik Sinner, carlos Alcarez, and Novak Djokovic, and ’Ring V: Night of the Samurai’ boxing event in december with Naoya Inoue and Junto Nakatani. Looking further ahead, Riyadh will host WWE’s Royal Rumble in January 2026 – the frist time the event will be held outside of North America – and Wrestlemania 43 in 2027.
