SAP and Google Cloud Partner to Accelerate AI and Analytics with Direct Data Access
SAP and Google Cloud are deepening their partnership to provide customers with faster, more secure access to SAP data for advanced analytics and artificial intelligence (AI) applications. The collaboration centers around a new offering, SAP business Data Cloud Connect for Google BigQuery, designed to eliminate traditional data replication and ETL processes.
This new connection allows customers to directly access SAP’s comprehensive and governed data products at scale within Google’s BigQuery data warehouse. This enables flexible integration of SAP data with other enterprise data stored in bigquery, and vice-versa, fostering innovation with both analytics and AI capabilities, including Google’s Gemini models.
“Bringing together Google BigQuery and SAP Business Data Cloud gives our customers choice without compromise, enabling them to fast-track their analytics and AI initiatives,” stated Christian Klein, CEO of SAP SE.
Thomas Kurian,CEO of google Cloud, added,”By uniting SAP Business Data Cloud with BigQuery and Gemini models,we’re making it easy for enterprises to build a unified data foundation that breaks down silos and unlocks a new class of AI agents and applications.”
