Manga Artists & animators Bring Creative Workshops to Saint-Rome-de-Tarn This Weekend
Saint-Rome-de-Tarn,Aveyron – A festivity of manga,animation,and artistic expression unfolds this Saturday and Sunday,October 4th and 5th,in Saint-Rome-de-Tarn,offering workshops,a concert,a drawing evening,and a prize ceremony.The event, “Crok‘ is a bulle!” (“Crok’ is a bubble!”), aims to introduce the world of manga to a new generation and showcase local talent.
The initiative has already sparked enthusiasm among local schoolchildren, with artists like anaïs Eustache leading workshops focused on manga drawing techniques. Similar introductory sessions were also held in au-Pégayrols (with Weissengel), Truel (led by Jeronimo Cejudo), and at the Saint-Affrique media library (facilitated by Margo Renard). This weekend’s event expands on that momentum, providing a broader public opportunity to engage with the art form and its creators.
Activities begin Saturday at 10 a.m. and include opportunities to meet the artists and participate in drawing activities throughout the city. A fideua dinner will be served at 7 p.m.,followed by a concert and drawing evening starting at 9 p.m.
Sunday’s events resume at 10 a.m., culminating in an awards ceremony for the “springboard” competition at 4:30 p.m. in the Saint-Rome-de-Tarn village hall.
