Leeds United will be without winger Dan James for a significant period following an ankle injury sustained in training. Manager Daniel Farke anticipates James will be sidelined for four to six weeks, realistically expecting a return in November, though an earlier appearance would be a “bonus, a surprise.”
The injury adds to LeedsS growing list of unavailable players ahead of their match against Tottenham Hotspur. Fellow winger Willy Gnonto will also miss the Spurs clash due to a calf strain, but Farke indicated Gnonto is “pretty sure” to return to team training next week and be in contention after the international break. Additionally, Harry Gray is doubtful with a hip flexor issue, and Lucas Perri remains in training but is not yet fit to play.
