Garmin announced the release of the Etrex Touch today, a portable GPS device engineered for a wide range of outdoor activities. The device is priced at €450, according to the official proclamation.

The Etrex Touch boasts a high-resolution colour touchscreen, enabling intuitive zooming and route navigation. It comes preloaded with Topoactive Europe maps, covering roads and trails. Users have the option to enhance their mapping experience with an Outdoor MAPS+ subscription for access to premium cartographic content.
Garmin highlights the Etrex TouchS remarkable battery life, offering up to 130 hours of operation on a single charge.In expedition mode, the device can operate for up to 650 hours (27 days).
Durability and Design
Built to withstand challenging conditions, the Etrex Touch is IP67 certified for water and dust resistance and meets MIL-STD-810 standards for shock resistance. The device features a 3-inch touchscreen and is designed to be lightweight and easily portable.
The pre-installed Topoactive Europe maps include features such as contour lines, topographic elevation data, and points of interest.The device is rechargeable via the included cable.
