Narbonne Rugby Club Seeks Reinforcements After Injury Crisis in Third Row
Narbonne, France – The Racing Club Narbonnais is moving to bolster its third row following a spate of injuries to key players.The club is reportedly on the verge of signing 21-year-old Matéo Lavasele from Union bordeaux-Bègles on loan for the remainder of the season.
The need for reinforcements became critical after a serious injury to Loan Lavergne during Saturday’s match against Suresnes. Lavergne underwent two surgeries on sunday and Monday and is expected to be sidelined for several months, potentially missing the entire season. This comes on the heels of a similar injury to Thibault Clauzade during a friendly match in Aurillac earlier this summer, requiring surgery for a torn cruciate ligament. Lucas Bachelier is also out with a thigh tear, and Naël Souid’s heel injury is currently under evaluation.
