San Jose Bike Party Announces “Every Day Is Halloween” Test ride 2
SAN JOSE, CA – San Jose Bike Party (SJBP) is gearing up for it’s “Every Day Is Halloween” themed Test Ride 2, offering a unique, community-focused cycling event on the third friday of each month. The rolling party invites riders of all ages and wheeled conveyances - bicycles, scooters, unicycles, tricycles, and even roller skates – to traverse 15-20 miles through San Jose and the South Bay.
SJBP provides a vibrant social experience centered around cycling, with two party stops featuring music by guerillaz In Da Mixx along the route. The event emphasizes safety and community responsibility, requiring all participants to ride sober, obey traffic laws, and respect fellow riders, drivers, and pedestrians. Routes are kept partially secret until the week of the ride, adding an element of adventure.
Participants are reminded that they ride at their own risk and are responsible for their behavior.SJBP actively seeks volunteers to assist with route guidance, trash collection via “RAVEN” trikes, and event planning. Interested individuals can connect with “BIRDs” (identified by the bird logo) during the ride or visit https://www.sjbikeparty.org/donate/ to contribute.
SJBP’s “How We Ride” guidelines prioritize safety: follow the law, be predictable, be conspicuous, think ahead, and ride ready. More information about the event can be found at https://www.facebook.com/events/5071095243116038/.
