CBF to Unveil 2026 Brazilian Football Calendar This Wednesday

Rio de Janeiro‌ – The Brazilian ‍Football Confederation (CBF) will⁣ reveal the official calendar for ⁤the 2026 Brazilian football season at a press event next Wednesday, October 1st, ‌at 10:00 AM at⁣ its Rio ‌de⁣ Janeiro headquarters. The announcement comes amid growing calls for reform to address fixture ‍congestion and optimize the schedule around the FIFA World Cup.

The ‌forthcoming calendar is anticipated to feature a reduced number of matches and potential adjustments to the structure of⁣ state championships.
