Suns Sign Damion Baugh & David Duke Jr. to Exhibit 10 Contracts

Phoenix Suns Add⁢ Two Guards on Exhibit 10 Contracts

PHOENIX – The Phoenix Suns have signed guards Damion Baugh and David ‍Duke Jr. to exhibit 10 contracts,the team announced Tuesday. The signings bring the Suns’ training camp⁢ roster closer to full as ⁢they prepare for the upcoming season following a significant offseason ‌overhaul.

Both ​Baugh and Duke will ‌participate in training camp on non-guaranteed‌ deals, ⁣with the expectation they‍ will likely ​join the team’s G League ‌affiliate, the Valley Suns, following⁣ the preseason. These moves represent a common strategy for NBA teams⁤ to bolster camp competition and identify potential talent‍ for their G league ‍rosters.

Baugh, a 6-foot-4 guard, spent last season primarily with the Charlotte Hornets on a two-way contract. Across 39 ⁣combined G League games with the​ Westchester​ Knicks and Greensboro Swarm, he averaged 12.7 points,⁤ 5.8 rebounds, 7.9 assists, and 1.6 steals per game.

Duke, also ‌6-foot-4, has spent​ the past two seasons on two-way contracts‌ with the⁤ San Antonio Spurs. In ⁣42 G League games with the ‌Austin ‍Spurs,he posted averages of ⁢17.0 points, 5.9 ​rebounds, 3.9 assists, and 1.5 ⁣steals per game.

The signings come as the Suns embark on a new​ era under first-year General Manager Brian Gregory and Head Coach Jordan ott. The team underwent substantial changes this offseason, trading kevin Durant to the Houston Rockets and​ allowing Bradley ⁣Beal⁢ to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers. devin Booker,recently extended with a significant contract,will now lead a roster featuring Dillon Brooks,Jalen Green,and a core of developing‌ players.
