TAMPA, FL – South Carolina State travels to Raymond James Stadium this Saturday to face teh University of South Florida Bulls, seeking to continue a strong start to their season against a formidable American athletic Conference opponent. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a 2-1 record following a 55-41 victory over Bethune-Cookman, while USF is also 2-1 after wins against Boise State and Florida, punctuated by a recent loss to Miami.
This matchup presents a significant challenge for SCSU as they face a USF programme aiming to build on its recent successes. Graduate quarterback Ryan Stubblefield leads the Bulldog offense, having thrown for a team-high 286 yards and one touchdown on 21-of-35 passing in their last outing. True freshman Mason Pickett-hicks has also emerged as a key contributor,rushing for 87 yards on four carries against Bethune-Cookman.
