The⁣ Charlatans Unveil Dreamy ‘We Are Love‘ remix by MGMT

london,⁣ UK – The⁢ Charlatans have released⁣ a captivating ‌remix of their new single, “We⁤ Are Love,” crafted by the acclaimed American psychedelic pop band MGMT. ⁢The remix premiered‍ today on NME adn offers a ⁣fresh outlook on⁢ the track, taken from the band’s first⁢ album in eight years.

The⁣ forthcoming album, due ⁣out after‌ a hiatus of eight⁢ years, represents a significant moment for‍ The Charlatans and their dedicated⁢ fanbase. Produced by a stellar lineup including ‌Dev Hynes (Blood Orange, lightspeed Champion), ‍Fred Macpherson (Spector, Rachel Yourial, Jessica⁢ Winter, taahliah),‍ and legendary producer ‌Stephen Street​ (The⁢ smiths, Blur, The Cranberries), the ⁢record is already‌ being hailed ‍by some ‍as the⁢ band’s best work to date. Tim Burgess, the band’s frontman, expressed his⁢ awe,​ stating, “I think it’s ⁢the best record that ⁢we’ve done. I’m filled with elation and pride around it.”

Burgess previously shared with NME in July that the band’s return⁤ hinged on ⁢a collective desire to create something ‍meaningful. “We all felt we had to have the desire to make something, to have something to say,⁤ to be able to have something worthwhile that we all‍ felt⁤ good about,”⁤ he explained. “We all love all ⁤11 ⁢tracks,which⁤ is⁢ an amazing feat – for us all to love everything.” The album reportedly took over two-and-a-half ‍years to ​complete.

beyond the ‌new album ⁣and remix, The Charlatans ⁤are also contributing to the upcoming 30th-anniversary reissue of​ War ⁣Child’s influential 1995 charity album, ‘help.’
