Local Football Standouts Shine in Friday Night Action

Coldwater, MI – Several area athletes delivered standout performances during Friday nightS prep football games, showcasing extraordinary skill adn contributing to key victories for their teams. from game-changing interceptions to dominant rushing performances, local players are making their mark early in the season.
This week’s top performers include Dalton Hoard of Bronson, Taylor Stewart of White Pigeon, Kaynen Ledyard of Burr Oak, Matthew Bates of Centreville, and Mason Awe of three Rivers, each contributing substantially to their team’s success. Fans can now vote for their choice for Athlete of the Week, recognizing the dedication and talent within the local high school football community.
Dalton Hoard, Bronson
Hoard caught two of Losinski’s touchdown passes, finishing with six catches for 109 yards in Bronson’s 46-19 win over Hartford. He also intercepted a pass and returned it for a touchdown.
Taylor Stewart, White Pigeon
Stewart rushed for 204 yards in White Pigeon’s 72-12 win over cassopolis, scoring three times.
Kaynen Ledyard, Burr Oak
Ledyard, last week’s Athlete of the Week, rushed for 165 yards on 10 carries in Burr Oak’s win over North Adams-Jerome, scoring three touchdowns. He also led the Bobcat defense with 10 tackles.
Matthew Bates, Centreville
Bates rushed for 54 yards in Centreville’s 41-8 win over Comstock, scoring a pair of touchdowns in a dominant team effort.
Mason Awe, Three Rivers
Awe threw for a pair of touchdowns and added a rushing touchdown in Three Rivers’ 31-6 victory over Otsego.
