Ave Maria Gyrenes Soccer: Next Game vs. Dallas Christian

DALLAS – The Ave Maria University Men’s Soccer team battled to a 2-2 draw against Paul Quinn College Saturday, continuing their road trip through Texas. The result marks the second consecutive contest ending in a tie for the Gyrenes during their three-game Lone Star State swing.

The tie brings ave Maria’s overall record to 2-2-2, with a 1-0-1 mark specifically within Texas. This matchup was significant as it represented the first-ever meeting between the two programs on the soccer field. The Gyrenes will conclude their Texas trip Monday, September 15, with a noon Eastern/11 a.m. Central kickoff against Dallas Christian College, another first-time opponent.

Sophomores Mateo Rolon and Sava Cadjenovic each found the back of the net for Ave Maria,extending their impressive form. Both players now boast four goals over the last two games, with Rolon maintaining a scoring streak spanning three consecutive matches.
