Businessman’s Dog Training Sparks ⁢Questions About Relationship with Former Anchor

TAIPEI,⁢ Taiwan – A Samoyed puppy’s ⁤death and ​a subsequent⁣ request for training records have brought‌ scrutiny too the relationship between a married businessman, Wang Mingzheng, and former anchor ⁢Lin ‍Qingyi, according to a report published September 15, 2025, by Mirror Media. The incident has raised ⁢questions about the nature ‌of their connection, fueled⁣ by observations from ⁢staff at the dog‍ training facility and discrepancies ⁤in publicly known data.

The controversy ‍began when Lin Qingyi contacted⁤ Xueyuan ​Dog Training Academy regarding training for her dog.⁤ During the training process, staff consistently‌ observed a close dynamic between ⁢Lin and⁣ Wang, with Lin referring to ‌Wang as “My Mr.” and both appearing deeply affected by ‌the sudden death of the puppy one month later. Both Wang and Lin rushed to the academy upon learning of ⁢the dog’s passing, with Wang expressing sadness and thanking the staff for their care. Staff at Xueyuan, believing them to ⁢be ‍husband ‍and wife due ‍to ‌the ⁢dog’s registration under Wang’s ​name and Lin’s deferential⁢ address, even joined them in a farewell to the animal.

Though,‍ a subsequent online search⁤ by an acquaintance, identified as “Miss B,” revealed that Wang Mingzheng is married ⁢to someone other ⁢than Lin Qingyi. further inquiry‍ showed Wang and his wife appearing together publicly at events and in media coverage.

Shortly after the puppy’s death, Lin sent a lawyer’s letter to⁤ Xueyuan requesting all surveillance footage, work schedules,​ training lists, and caregiver information related to the dog. Xueyuan complied with the request,​ believing Wang to be the dog’s owner. The puppy’s death later became a subject of media attention following an anonymous tip.
