CURRAGH, IRELAND – Red Evolution secured‍ a ‍victory at Cork in July, beating Eclairage by 1‍ 1/4l⁤ in a 5f ⁤handicap, and ⁣heads a field of 16 contenders for the Irish Stallion farms EBF Bold⁤ Lad Sprint ⁤Handicap​ at the Curragh today.‍ The Premier Handicap, scheduled for ⁤13:30, promises a thrilling ⁤contest with ​several runners​ showcasing recent form.

The Bold Lad sprint⁣ is⁤ a ​key⁤ race for​ sprinters‍ aiming to build their ​profiles⁣ as the flat season nears it’s ‌conclusion. A strong performance can significantly boost​ a horse’s rating ‌and open doors to valuable opportunities in upcoming‌ autumn ‌races. Jon Riggens⁣ (IRE) was recently 3rd of 8 at the Curragh in ‌august, finishing 3 1/4l behind ‌Queen Of Mougins (10-1)‍ over 6f ​on good ground. Genesis ‌(IRE) secured 5th of 7 ⁢at Navan in September, 4 3/4l behind Nezeeh (8-9) over 5f on good ground.

greek Flower (IRE) finished ​4th of 6 at navan in August, 2 1/4l behind Little Queenie (9-2) over​ 6f on yielding ‌ground. ⁣Varshini (IRE) was⁣ 5th of 10​ at ⁤the Curragh in July, ​6 ‌1/4l behind Pink oxalis (9-6) over⁤ 1m on good-yielding‌ ground. I Bid You Ajou (8-13) also features, having raced behind Red Evolution at Fairyhouse​ in June.
