Honeywell Bolsters Industrial Cybersecurity with AI and Digital Twin Technology
Honeywell has launched a new suite of AI-enabled cybersecurity software and expanded its Digital Prime platform to enhance operational security and efficiency for industrial customers. The new offerings aim to mitigate cyber risks, improve operational resilience, and support continuous operations in increasingly complex environments.
the core of Honeywell’s cybersecurity push includes:
* Honeywell Cyber Proactive Defense: This software leverages AI and behavioral analytics to establish a baseline of normal OT system behavior, detect anomalies, and strengthen defenses. It also incorporates deception technology to divert attackers.
* Honeywell OT Security Operations center: A vendor-agnostic, agentless service providing 24/7/365 monitoring for early cyberattack detection, coupled with on-site incident management.
“Industries are seeking AI-enabled, enterprise-wide solutions that adapt and make decisions in dynamic conditions, and our new digital technologies help them create safer, more reliable and more efficient operations,” said Pramesh Maheshwari, president of Honeywell process Solutions.
Both Cyber Proactive Defense and the OT Security Operations Center are available globally now.
Beyond cybersecurity, Honeywell has also expanded its Honeywell Digital Prime platform. This allows customers to virtually test and refine engineering projects before implementation, minimizing downtime and maximizing throughput. The expanded ecosystem consolidates three offerings - Solution Enhancement Support Program (SESP), Enabled Services, and Assurance 360 – providing access to Honeywell’s expertise for optimizing control systems, improving maintenance, and gaining near real-time performance insights. This reduces reliance on highly specialized technical skills.
The expanded Honeywell Digital Prime ecosystem will be available to customers in Q4 2025.
