Denise Richards Revealed She Made sandwiches for Charlie Sheen‘s Hookers During Drug-Fueled bender
Denise Richards disclosed a startling detail about her marriage to Charlie Sheen: she once prepared sandwiches for his companions during a notably chaotic period of his drug use. The revelation surfaced during a recent interview promoting the Netflix documentary “aka Charlie Sheen,” offering a glimpse into the tumultuous dynamic of their relationship.
Richards recounted an incident where Sheen, amid a drug-fueled binge, had a group of women at their home. Feeling compelled to provide sustenance, she made them sandwiches, but in a moment of frustration, disparagingly referred to them as “white trash” sandwiches. The incident underscores the challenges she faced navigating Sheen’s erratic behavior and substance abuse issues during their marriage, which spanned from 2002 to 2006.
The couple briefly reconciled before ultimately proceeding with their divorce, finalized in November 2006.Their subsequent custody battle involved accusations from Richards regarding Sheen’s “inappropriate behavior…and conduct,” including concerns about his attraction to underage women and explicit online content.
Following Sheen’s 2015 disclosure of his HIV-positive status, a source told People magazine that Richards had been aware “for a number of years” and that Sheen contracted the virus after their divorce.
Despite past legal disputes, including a $1.2 million lawsuit filed by Richards in 2016, the exes have seemingly mended fences. Last Thursday, they publicly reunited on the red carpet at the premiere of “aka Charlie Sheen,” marking their first joint appearance in two decades. Both episodes of the documentary are currently available for streaming on Netflix.
