AUSTIN, Texas – The university of Texas baseball team will face a challenging schedule in its second season within the Southeastern Conference, the league announced tuesday. the 30-game conference slate begins March 13-15 with a home series against Ole Miss at UFCU Disch-Falk Field.
Texas, the 2025 SEC regular season champion, will also host Oklahoma (March 27-29), Alabama (April 17-19), Mississippi State (May 1-3), and Missouri (May 14-16). Road series are scheduled against Auburn (March 20-22), South Carolina (April 2-4), Texas A&M (April 10-12), Vanderbilt (April 24-26), and Tennessee (May 8-10).The SEC Baseball Tournament will return to Hoover Met Stadium in Hoover, Alabama, from May 19-24, featuring a single-elimination bracket with all 16 conference teams. In 2025, a record 13 SEC programs earned NCAA Tournament bids, with eight hosting regional rounds.
Under head coach Jim Schlossnagle, Texas achieved a 44-14 record in 2025-its best season in 15 years-and became the first team to win the SEC in its inaugural season as 1933. The Longhorns’ complete 2026 conference schedule is subject to change for television scheduling.
