Andersen has welcomed Jesús Mardomingo as a partner specializing in Financial M&A, bringing over 35 years of experience advising a diverse client base including public and private, national and international financial institutions, administrations, and governments. mardomingo joins Andersen from Dentons, where he was a partner in the financial and banking practice.

Jesús Mardomingo’s career has been deeply involved in pivotal moments within the Spanish financial landscape. He served as legal advisor during the restructuring of the Spanish financial sector, contributing to projects like the establishment of Sareb and the conversion of savings banks into foundations. He also held the position of general secretary for Caja Madrid, among othre roles. His experience extends to the launch of Spain’s first online banks and assisting international fund managers with tax optimization.
Mardomingo is a pioneer in the collective investment space, having advised on the launch of Spain’s first registered hedge fund, its first real estate investment funds, and the first fund dedicated to 100% crypto-asset exposure. He is also a recognized specialist in wealth management, focusing on the development of sophisticated financial and tax strategies.
A Law graduate from Complutense University, Mardomingo furthered his education with a Master’s degree in Legal Consultancy for Construction and Real Estate Companies from the Polytechnic University of Madrid.
