New Queenstown Medical Center Opens in Remarkables Park, Expanding Healthcare access
REMARKABLES PARK, QUEENSTOWN LAKES DISTRICT – Queenstown Medical Centre (QMC) has unveiled a significantly expanded facility in remarkables Park, bolstering healthcare services for the rapidly growing Queenstown Lakes community. The newly renovated clinic promises increased appointment availability and more flexible scheduling to meet patient demands.
The investment secures QMC’s position as a leading healthcare provider for the next quarter-century, according to Dr. Duncan Light. “This new facility sets QMC up for the next 25-30 years of health support for our growing community,” Light stated. The upgraded Remarkables Park clinic is now accepting new enrollments, offering patients modern facilities and timely, high-quality care.
QMC continues to provide thorough urgent and after-hours care to all patients – enrolled, casual, and visitors – at its Isle Street clinic. Notably, the Isle Street location remains the only provider of 365-days-a-year urgent care within the district. Beyond urgent care, Isle street offers a wide range of services including immigration medicals, travel medicine, sexual health appointments, fracture and musculoskeletal care, nutritional guidance, and contraceptive device clinics. On-site access to radiology, ultrasound, pharmacy services, and physiotherapy is also available. The Jacks Point practice will maintain its current operating status.
