Fulda,​ Germany – Up to 60 percent of liver disease cases are potentially preventable through dietary and lifestyle adjustments, according to health professionals. A focus ⁢on reducing consumption of sugary foods, processed meals, ⁣and fast food, coupled with increased intake of vegetables and whole ​grains, can significantly improve liver health.

Liver disease is a growing concern, impacting individuals across all age groups. The German Nutrition Society recommends limiting animal product consumption to a maximum of 300 grams per week, prioritizing lean varieties. Maintaining a low-fat diet is crucial, and mindful eating – savoring meals slowly ​to recognize fullness – is also advised.Replacing sugary drinks with water and unsweetened tea,and moderating alcohol intake due to its caloric content⁣ and⁢ interference with⁣ fat⁢ metabolism,are key preventative measures.
