From ‌Commitment⁣ to Action: ofi Brings Nutrition Support to 70% of Primary Employees

Geneva -‍ October 24,2024 – Global ingredient supplier ofi ‌has reached a significant ‍milestone in its commitment ⁢to workforce⁤ wellbeing, now providing tailored nutrition support to 70% of its 18,000 primary employees‍ worldwide. This achievement marks substantial progress ⁤toward ⁢ofiS 2030 goal, driven ‍in partnership with ⁤The‍ Consumer Goods Forum’s (CGF) Workforce Nutrition Alliance (WNA).

ofi, operating in over 50 countries with more than 120 manufacturing sites‍ and a sourcing network encompassing 2.4 million farmers, initially committed⁣ to supporting⁤ the ‌nutrition of its 24,500-strong workforce. Despite a reduction in⁢ overall employee numbers, the company has more than doubled‍ access to ‍its nutrition ⁣programs – ⁢from ⁣6,000 in 2022 to 12,500 projected by 2025.

The nutrition support includes access‍ to ‍subsidized, free meals and‌ nutrition-focused health checks, customized to meet the needs‌ and cultural contexts of employees across diverse regions.⁢ ofi attributes its success to strong local implementation combined with global HR leadership.

This progress aligns with a growing global focus on workforce nutrition, recently underscored at the Paris N4G Summit in⁤ March 2025,‍ where the private sector’s critical role in promoting⁤ healthier diets and addressing malnutrition was highlighted by stakeholders including the CGF.
