Mosaic Art Installation: Inauguration at Park School in Solna

A Mosaic ⁢Masterpiece Unveiled: “Underfield” inaugurates at Park School

Solna, Sweden – A vibrant and ⁣imaginative world built from recycled tile is set⁣ to be unveiled ​this Saturday, September 6th, at 13:00 at ⁤Park School (Blomgatan 3, opposite ⁣Hagalundsparken and teh splash pond). The mosaic, titled ​”underfield,” ‌is the culmination of a⁣ collaborative art project led by educators ⁤at ‌the Culture School and⁤ supported by⁤ artists from the Remake⁢ company.

Students each contributed a unique piece to the larger work, painstakingly assembling ⁤the mosaic over the⁣ summer months wiht the help of‌ holiday job participants. The result is a richly detailed ⁢and surprising artwork‌ depicting an imaginative, ‌underground ⁢realm populated by intriguing creatures.

“I am proud that ‌in Solna we can create art that brings us together,” stated​ Sandra Lindström, chair of the culture and Leisure committee in solna city. “Through⁣ co-creation and imagination, we have a work of⁣ art ⁢that everyone can enjoy, full of details and with something new ⁤to discover each time you pass by.”

The inauguration ⁢promises a celebratory program featuring ​performances and ⁢presentations ‍from the Solna Cultural ‌School. Attendees are⁣ invited ⁣to‌ explore the artwork, meet the young creators, and⁢ uncover the hidden secrets within “Underfield.”
