Koppert Argentina & Tropfen Forge Alliance to Enhance Biological Crop protection
BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA – September 2, 2025 – Koppert Argentina, a leading biologicals company, and Tropfen, an adjuvant technology specialist, today announced a strategic alliance unveiled at the Aapresid congress 2025. The collaboration aims to optimize the application and efficacy of KoppertS biological crop protection products.
The partnership centers around two key innovations: Azoto,a free-living nitrogen-fixing bacterium leveraging its penetrant,antievaporant,and super-spreader qualities; and Taycan,a polyglycerol ester-based adjuvant technology designed to maximize the performance of Koppert’s bioinsecticides Mulsanne and boveril Plus. Taycan improves the adhesion and infectivity of the active ingredient – the conidium – to target insects, functioning as a surfactant, sticker, penetrant, and drift mitigator.
“This innovation arises at a time when the efficient application of biological products requires increasingly specific formulations,” stated Koppert representatives. “The collaboration seeks to offer technologies that preserve microorganism viability, while enhancing application efficacy in the field.”
