Local Wrestling School Offers Rare Training Prospect, Founded by veteran Performer
Prayssac, France – A burgeoning wrestling school in Prayssac is drawing attention as one of teh few facilities in France offering comprehensive training with a full-size wrestling ring. Hellfire Championship Wrestling (HCW),founded by Yann Fernandez – who performs as “Eddy Daniel” – provides a unique pathway into the world of professional wrestling,a sport blending athleticism with theatrical performance.
Fernandez’s journey to establishing HCW began with a childhood passion fueled by American wrestling culture. He trained in the United states alongside established performers, gaining invaluable experience before returning to France to establish a school mirroring the rigorous standards he encountered abroad. “France has only fifteen wrestling schools and less than 10 of them have a ring like ours,” Fernandez stated, highlighting the exceptional nature of the HCW facility. This limited access underscores the school’s importance for aspiring wrestlers in the region and beyond.
The school’s appeal extends beyond purely athletic ambition. Students like Emilie, who also participates in theater, are drawn to the performative aspect of wrestling. “I do theater. In wrestling we also play emotions in a ring. That’s what I like,” she explained. This sentiment is echoed by other students, such as Nathalie, who describes the sport as “exciting and impressive.”
HCW’s coach emphasizes that success in wrestling is built on dedicated training. “Everything is working and acquired in training,” he asserts, underscoring the discipline required to master the sport’s physical and dramatic demands. The school aims to cultivate an “alchemy between energy debauchery and sense of spectacle,” recognizing that professional wrestling is, fundamentally, a show.
Currently, HCW is welcoming new students.Interested individuals can contact the school at hcw.catch@gmail.com, by phone at 0645603856, or find them on Instagram at Hellfire Championship Wrestling.
