Rossen’s first test subject was the EZCracker,a tool designed to crack eggs and separate yolks with a single motion. The verdict? It performed flawlessly, cleanly separating the yolk from the white each time. At a price of $18,Rossen gave it his stamp of approval.
Next up was the FastaPasta microwave cooker, marketed as a mess-free way to cook pasta.After 13 minutes in the microwave, spaghetti cooked in the FastaPasta came out perfectly al dente. Importantly,while the container itself got hot,the handles remained cool to the touch,making straining easy. This $20 gadget also earned Rossen’s recommendation.Rossen put the Zulay stainless steel pineapple corer to the test. The gadget proved effective, effortlessly coring and slicing a pineapple with minimal effort, leaving only the core behind. It too received Rossen’s approval.
