Football movers: Ederson Completes Transfer to Fenerbahce
September 1, 2024 – Manchester City goalkeeper Ederson has completed a move to Turkish side Fenerbahce Istanbul for a fee of around €13-14 million, according to Fabrizio Romano. The transfer paves the way for Manchester City to pursue goalkeeper gianluigi Donnarumma.
City brought in James Trafford from Burnley during the summer, but the young keeper has not yet convinced in three Premier League matches. Donnarumma is expected to bring stability to the goal position.

Eliesse ben Seghir to Bayer Leverkusen: Bayer Leverkusen has signed Moroccan footballer Eliesse Ben Seghir from AS Monaco for €32 million. The 20-year-old offensive player has signed a five-year contract. Club director Simon Rolfes stated, “Eliesse is a first-class technician, full of ideas and clever in dribbling. He has an accurate pass that can open the game…We are looking forward to his performance in the Bayer 04 jersey.” Seghir has 85 appearances and 15 goals for Monaco’s first team, plus 11 caps for morocco.
* Antony to Real Betis: Brazilian winger Antony will remain at Real Betis Balompio permanently after the Spanish club agreed to a €25 million transfer with Manchester United. Manchester United will retain 50 percent of any future sale.
