SAN JOSE, CA - August 26, 2024 - Revised plans for a significant housing advancement at 180 Park Avenue in San Jose are scheduled for review by the city’s Planning Commission this Wednesday, August 27th. The project,spearheaded by Westbank,proposes a substantial addition to the cityview Plaza area.
If approved, construction of the Shops component of the project is anticipated to take approximately 24 months. The plans represent a revision to previously submitted proposals for the site.

The 180 Park Avenue site is located near Diridon Station, a key transportation hub in Silicon Valley and a focal point for future transit-oriented development. The project aims to increase housing density in the area, contributing to the city’s efforts to address the ongoing housing shortage.
The development team includes Solomon Cordwell Buenz (SCB) as the architect,Surfacedesign Inc. for landscape architecture, and DES Architects + Engineers. Newmark and Jay Paul Company are also involved in the project.
