ASUS GeForce RTX 50 Series to Feature Simplified OSD Customization and AI-Powered Image Generation
Taipei, Taiwan – November 8, 2024 – ASUS today announced that its upcoming GeForce RTX 50 series graphics cards will include a streamlined on-screen display (OSD) customization process and integration with MuseTree, an artificial intelligence-based image generation application. The new features aim to enhance both the user experience for performance tuning and creative capabilities for content creators.
ASUS is simplifying GPU overclocking and monitoring with a new OSD Wizard. This tool is designed to make customizing the GPU Tweak III OSD a straightforward process, eliminating complexity for users of all skill levels. According to ASUS representatives, the wizard will guide users through key settings, allowing for quick and easy adjustments to fan speeds, voltages, and other performance parameters.
Beyond performance enhancements, the RTX 50 series will natively support MuseTree, an AI-powered application developed by a team at National Taiwan University. MuseTree allows users to generate images from text prompts, offering a new avenue for artistic expression and visual content creation. The integration will provide a seamless workflow for generating and managing visual assets directly within the gaming and creative habitat.
MuseTree utilizes a diffusion model trained on a dataset of over 10 million images, enabling it to produce high-quality, diverse visuals. Users can refine generated images with parameters controlling style, composition, and detail. The application is designed to be accessible to both professional artists and hobbyists, lowering the barrier to entry for AI-assisted image creation.
The RTX 50 series is expected to launch in the fourth quarter of 2025, with pricing starting at $799 for the base model RTX 5070. Further details regarding specifications and availability will be released closer to the launch date.
