This technology functions as a semi-automated mechanism, leveraging data from a continuous glucose monitoring device to automatically regulate insulin delivery.

Physical activity enhances glucose utilization by muscles and improves insulin sensitivity. Consequently, there is an elevated risk of hypoglycemia during and following exercise. Participants also faced the potential for hyperglycemia, with factors such as stress and adrenaline contributing to increased blood sugar levels.
