Speculation is mounting regarding the successor to Edward Enninful as the next editor-in-chief of British vogue, with betting markets showing a significant lean towards no new appointment by the end of 2025.

Anna Wintour, a pivotal figure in the fashion industry, continues to hold the position of chief Content Officer for Condé Nast, the publisher of Vogue and other prominent titles such as WIRED, Vanity Fair, GQ, AD, and Glamour. In this capacity, she oversees content across all international editions of Vogue and the publisher’s other brands.

Current betting activity on Polymarket indicates that approximately 40 percent of participants believe no new editor or editor-in-chief will be appointed for British Vogue by the close of 2025. Following this, Chioma Nnadi is the second most favored candidate, with 22 percent of the bets. Nnadi, who has British, Nigerian, and German-Swiss heritage, has been serving as the “Head of Editorial Content” for British Vogue as September 2023.

Wintour has publicly lauded Nnadi’s appointment, describing her as “an editor and author with a flawless reputation.” nnadi succeeded Edward Enninful, the former editor-in-chief of the British edition. Notably, Enninful himself is not a participant in the current betting pool.

In third place among the favored candidates is chloe Malle, an editor at Vogue, who has garnered eleven percent of the bets. amy Astley, the editor-in-chief of Architectural Digest, and Taylor Antrim, the Global Network Lead & US Deputy Editor at Vogue, are tied with four percent each. Antrim is the first male candidate to appear in the rankings and represents the third individual associated with Vogue’s editorial team to be considered in the speculation surrounding Wintour’s potential successor.

the betting period for this market is scheduled to conclude on December 31, 2025.
